Terms of service

Effective date: 30 September 2024

These terms outline the conditions under which TryLuck Events provides event planning and management services. By engaging with us, you agree to the following terms and any additional conditions included in your service proposal.

Services

Scope of work, deliverables, and timelines are detailed in written proposals or agreements shared with clients. Adjustments to scope must be agreed upon in writing.

Client responsibilities

  • Provide accurate event information including dates, venues, guest numbers, and vendor restrictions.
  • Secure necessary permissions or approvals from venues or authorities unless otherwise agreed.
  • Ensure timely payments as per the agreed schedule to confirm bookings and supplier commitments.

Fees and payments

  • Retainers or advance payments are required to begin work and secure dates.
  • Invoices are issued according to the milestones listed in your proposal.
  • Late payments may result in pause of services until dues are cleared.

Cancellations

Cancellation terms are defined in each proposal and may include non-refundable retainers and supplier cancellation charges. We will make reasonable efforts to minimise such charges.

Vendors and partners

We may recommend trusted suppliers; contracts entered directly with them remain between the client and the supplier. We are not liable for third-party performance beyond coordination responsibilities described in our agreement.

Liability

TryLuck Events is not liable for delays or cancellations arising from factors beyond our control, including weather events, government restrictions, or supplier defaults. Our liability is limited to the value of fees paid for services not delivered.

Intellectual property

Creative concepts, layouts, or documentation prepared by TryLuck Events remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed. Clients may use deliverables for the specific event they were created for.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
